USA Softball

Hey Yard,
I got some news for you so here's a little bit a catch up on the life--
1. I'm back from Japan for the Summer, and enjoying my time in the good ol' US of A.
2. I have now met up with my pro team the USSSA Pride out of Kissimmie, Fl (Orlando). It's looking the team will be decent and we are traveling around to the other teams (Rockford, Chicago, Akron, Philadelphia). I'm looking forward to trying to help get the Pride off the ground--so if your our of the Orlando area make sure you come check us out!!!!
3. I attended USA tryouts and am fortunate to have made the team for the summer. We are going to be playing in the Canada Cup, and the World Cup in Oklaholma, City which will take place from July 15-19 it will be televised also so make sure you check it out. 
4. Last but not least-- I have updated my website store we now have some apparell items and other cool things up so check it out. (www.monicaabbott.net)
It's looking like a pretty busy summer for me of travel and Softball but - HECK- I wouldn't want it any other way!

  Hi Monica! I am so glad that you are back home and playing on US land. I am working very hard to improve my skills and playing every chance that I get! I made All-Stars for the Deep Creek Pony Recreation 10U league out of Chesapeake, Virginia. We are practicing hard and long but it is great. I am so glad that I got to meet you and work with you. You are someone that I look up to in so many ways. Thank you for being you and being willing to be a true role model to those of us that want to progress to the max in fastpitch softball.   Nice job with the work with Team Toyota, now you get to help the USSSA (Florida) Pride out. It's funny the Pride are a decent team, but the Pride need to get things going, especially after watching the Chicago Bandits beating up the Pride four games to one. There is room for improvement though, would like to check your games.
  
  Good luck with the Canada Cup and World Cup of Softball tournaments as well. I think the entire USA is looking forward for a wonderful performance from Team USA this year,

  Ms.Abbott, first of all I just want to wish you luck in everything you do with your new team and Team USA....I think it sucks that softball wont be in the olympics next time around and Iam glad there are other events to look forward to...kick arse in the canada cup and dominate in the world cup...also, I was reading old articles about a NPF team the new york/new jersey juggernauts....it was around for like 2 years or something, but i think bringing a team back to new york and new jersey where some die hard softball fans live would be good.some of us can't affor 1000 a pop tickets to yankee games, and pro fastpitch games could be a great alternative. i mean, i don't think i can travel all the way to florida or akron (where is that, ohio?) to catch a game. I am only 17...maybe i'll start a pettittion on face book or something, generate suporters..think its a good idea??....anyway, good luck again, and if my internet doesnt crap out on me i'll check out a game online.
