College World Series
Hey YARD!!!
Alright--what's up? How's it going?
Team Toyota has a 5-1 record. We have 4 more games before the first half of the season is over. The one loss... well we just plain weren't ready to go, didn't have it. But, it was definitely a wake up call, especially since our team is relatively young in age and experience. The fours games left will definitelye be good games but we need to finish this half on a strong note. So, a CHALLENGE it is then, and I love challenges!
Any--Women's College World Series fans??? It's under way now--super regionals and then OKC (My poor Lady Vols lost in the finals of regionals--boo!) How do ya'll think is going to Oklaholma City?? Who do you think will take it all? Let me know!!!

Anyway, back to the College World Series....Florida is looking good. They surprised me. I was wondering about Virginia Tech and Angela Tinscher. Of course, softball is a team sport. The best pitcher in the world cannot win alone. As always, the College games will continue to be exciting.....all the way to the final game!

Retired Gold coach now that my daughter is now playing for Oregon State. Remember you back in the days of TB and playing for Tenn. Oregon State struggled a bit this year and we are planning on representing the PAC 10 next year. Unbelievable game last nite between UMASS and UW.. PAC 10 is making a case as to why they are such a tough conference..... As a pitcher , could you go as long as Lawrie did. They estimate she threw over 350 pitches. Sorry about Tenn not advancing . Actually Ashley Elllison from Jacksonville st was one of my pitchers in Gold, It is such a joy to see all of you succeed at the next level... Best of luck to you with pros and the national team. Say hi to Galindo for me . We were part of the same TB team and have followed her over the years .
Thx
Russell from Alameda....
GO BEAVS
